Medical Diagnostic Imaging is
a critical component of quality medical care. Shifa
International Hospital is proud to introduce its
new, state of the art department of diagnostic
imaging to provide comprehensive in/out patient
diagnostic and interventional services. This
department is certified by ISO 9001-2000 and is
continuously evolving. We provide Computed
Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI),
Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, general
radiography with Fluoroscopy as well as
Interventional and therapeutic imaging services
under one roof.
Shifa has taken a huge leap forward by moving
towards filmless, digital imaging by installing
Picture Archiving and Communication Services (PACS).
Department is spearheaded and managed by two (02)
Neuro and Interventional American Board Certified
Radiologists with the help of a highly professional
team of eight FCPS Imaging specialists, as well as
sonologists and other physicians. Department is
fully recognized by CPSP for Post-graduate teaching
and is currently staffed by eight (08) under
training fellows as well.
Our aim is to provide accurate, final and definite
assessment and diagnosis for ailments of our
patients in a manner that is cost competitive and
affordable to them. To reach this goal following
state of the art imaging modalities complimenting
each other are available to our consultants twenty
four (24) hours a day, seven (07) days a week.
