Food and nutrition services department is dedicated to fulfill the nutritional requirements of the admitted patients, their attendants, employees and medical staff. In IPD patients are counseled by our qualified dietitians on regular basis according to the diagnosis and lab finding. Accordingly their diet is planned and provided. Our objective is to promote the nutritional awareness in an individualized manners.
We ensure that a high standard of hygiene is maintained at all times. Food served to the patients, employees, medical staff and visitors is prepared in a strictly hygienic condition.
We ensure that all food handlers are free form infections and contagious disease. They are medically checked for their physical fitness regularly.
The observance of hygiene practices during food preparation is an important element in preventing food poisoning. In addition to the personal hygiene and temperature control, it is ensured that handling of food does not introduce contamination.
In addition to its primary responsibilities that is food and catering services of patient. FNSD is organizing in house banqueting for Administrative/Clinical seminars, functions etc regularly. The professionalism and culinary skills, of our qualified staff is highly appreciated by the Administrative/Medical staff and Guests.
To facilitate our employees, medical staff and guests. We have three cafeterias providing sumptuous and healthy food. A variety of meals is displayed at all outlets. Although cafeteria-I is exclusively for the visitors, we have also developed a lounge adjacent to cafeteria-I for our consultants, which is a very popular outlet among the senior medial staff. Cold Salad Bar counter in Cafeteria-I is also very popular among the college students and visitors.
Our tuck-shops at A-1st waiting lounge, in the main lobby and D-0 area provide hot, cold drinks and snacks to the visitors and employees at large.
