The department of Materials Management is mainly responsible for the quality storage, and in time issuance/distribution of material to all parts of the hospital . The department is systematically divided into different sections, like MM warehouse, Distribution Center, Distribution Center (OT) and Cath Lab, each involved in the issuance of Surgical items, Instruments, Office Stationery items, Laboratory kits, Cardiac items and general consumables according to the requests of specific end users. Materials Management is also contributing positively in the hospital revenue generation by providing round the clock counter for the cash sale of surgical items, generating a revenue of about 1.4 million per month. It makes sure the availability of all the life saving surgical items and delivers surgical items to 9 Operation rooms through a Distribution Center Operation Theater.
