Dr. Khawaja Junaid Mustafa has been appointed as the Chief Medical Officer

 

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Khawaja Junaid Mustafa as the new Chief Medical Officer of Shifa International Hospital. Dr. Junaid is an accomplished certified medical professional with extensive training and expertise in Emergency Medicine. He further honed his skills by earning a fellowship from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Emergency Medicine in Pakistan, and a certified professional in healthcare quality certification from the USA. He was trained and qualified in the United Kingdom and is a member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine in the UK.
He is the President of the Pakistan Society of Emergency Medicine, a role in which he works to promote the development and advancement of Emergency Medicine in Pakistan. Dr. Junaid has also served as the Faculty Lead of Emergency Medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Pakistan (CPSP) for six years.
Dr. Junaid brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role. In his previous roles at Shifa International Hospital, he has worked as a Consultant and Program Director in Emergency Medicine and served as the Director of Clinical Risk Management. He is also an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Shifa College of Medicine.
